Christopher Boots Joins Berman & Simmons

Attorney Christopher Boots joined the Berman & Simmons law firm in June 2018, where he will represent clients in personal injury cases from the firm’s Lewiston office.

A native of North Yarmouth, Maine, Boots graduated from the University of Chicago in 2010 and earned his law degree in 2014 from Stanford Law School, where he was active in the Stanford Community Law Clinic. Boots most recently worked as a litigation associate with Ropes and Gray LLP in its Boston and San Francisco offices. Previously, he was a law clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Jon Levy in Portland, Maine.

The son of two attorneys, Boots’ love of law was instilled at a young age, “Growing up I saw that as an attorney it’s your job to help real people with real problems. I’m excited to join Berman & Simmons and advocate on behalf of every day Mainers.”

Boots is an avid outdoorsman, spending his free time enjoying Maine’s mountains and waters.
