Meet Attorney Abaigeal Ridge

Abaigeal Ridge is driven to get the best outcome for clients.

When clients come to Berman & Simmons with questions, Abaigeal Ridge knows that getting answers for them starts with listening to their story.  Abaigeal works diligently to understand the negligence and the full scope of injury suffered by the people she represents and most importantly, how that experience has affected their lives. “I’m constantly motivated by our clients. They have been through something terrible, but they are resilient.  While I can’t undo their experience, I can help them get the compensation they deserve.”

Engaged and compassionate, Abaigeal has a natural ability to connect with clients, assess their situation, and help them determine their options. Working in collaboration with both the Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury teams, she enjoys digging into the technicalities of the law and then building a solid foundation to help move a case forward. Abaigeal’s work ethic, preparedness, and perseverance are her strongest assets.

A family legacy and prior experience prepared Abaigeal for a rewarding legal career.

Abaigeal’s dad, also an attorney, inspired her to attend law school and pursue her own legal career.  A summer associate position with Berman & Simmons solidified Abaigeal’s decision to work in personal injury and medical malpractice.

Abaigeal is a graduate of Connecticut College where she majored in Government and minored in Economics and American Studies.  After college, she worked as a paralegal in Boston.  She returned home to Maine and earned her law degree from the University of Maine School of Law. During law school, Abaigeal especially enjoyed working as a student attorney with the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic.  Following law school, Abaigeal completed a two-year clerkship with the Maine Superior Court.
