Berman & Simmons’ Trek Across Maine Team Raises Over $5,500

Berman & Simmons, the leading personal injury and medical malpractice law firm in Maine, helped raise over $5,500 for the 2019 Trek Across Maine, a three-day cycling event in June that benefits the American Lung Association (ALA).

The team began and ended the ride at Brunswick Landing. This year’s new 180-mile tour takes riders through Farmington and Colby College in Waterville. All money raised goes to the American Lung Association, the leading organization dedicated to improving lung health and preventing lung disease through research, education and advocacy. The ALA supports those living with asthma, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and fighting external threats to lung health such as air pollution, tobacco and more.

“The Trek provided a great experience for our team while also supporting a worthy organization” said Craig Bramley, managing director at Berman & Simmons. “I’m very proud of the fundraising our team was able to accomplish for the American Lung Association, an operation that contributes significantly to lung education and research.”

2019 Trek Across Maine team: Audrey Fillion, Timothy Kenlan, McKenzie Swift, Deb Danforth, Craig Bramley, Deseree Davis, Justine Satterthwaite, and Lance Forrest.
