Berman & Simmons to hold reception for Maine Law students

Berman & Simmons is excited to host a reception this week for students, staff, and faculty from the University of Maine School of Law in Portland.

The reception is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, at the firm’s office at 85 Exchange St. This social event will provide an opportunity for Maine Law students to learn about the culture and people at Berman & Simmons, as well as the firm’s summer associate program for 2L law students.

Managing Director Craig Bramley will speak to attendees, along with attorneys Jodi Nofsinger (Maine Law ‘96), and Travis Brennan (Maine Law ‘09).

Berman & Simmons is a proud supporter of Maine Law, which is Maine’s only law school and the public law school of the University of Maine System. Our support includes a recent three-year pledge to Maine Law’s PLUS Program — a summer immersion program for college undergraduates to learn about the legal profession. The program is designed primarily for students of color, immigrants, low-income students, and students from rural areas, with an ultimate goal of bringing more diversity to the legal profession.
