Berman & Simmons Champions Robbie Foundation’s “No Limits Run-Walk-Roll” Event

Brunswick, ME September 22, 2019 — Berman & Simmons, the leading personal injury and medical malpractice law firm in Maine, is a champion sponsor of the Robbie Foundation’s “No Limits Run-Walk-Roll” 5K for the fourth consecutive year. The event takes place at Bowdoin College in Brunswick on Sept. 22.

“No Limits” is a major fundraiser for the Robbie Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide adaptive equipment, therapy services, and other assistance not covered by insurance, to children in Maine with special needs.

The law firm is enthusiastic about joining other local supporters of this charitable cause again. Staff members from Berman & Simmons will attend the Sept. 22 event as volunteers and participants. Attorney Susan Faunce serves as a volunteer and board member for the Scarborough-based Robbie Foundation.

“Every child deserves the ability to live life to its fullest potential. For children with disabilities, that can be particularly challenging.” Faunce said. “As someone who has worked directly with children with disabilities and their families, I’ve seen the struggles of parents trying to provide for their children’s needs when they aren’t covered by insurance. Therapy can be an expensive necessity and participating in fundraising events like the “No Limits Run-Walk-Roll” can really help those who need it the most.
