Berman & Simmons Attorneys Present at the Maine State Bar Association Legal Year in Review

Attorney Alicia Curtis was among the experienced legal faculty selected to present at the Maine State Bar Association’s (MSBA) Legal Year in Review, an annual educational forum for attorneys. Curtis addressed changes during 2019 that effected the areas of civil procedure and evidence and how those might impact attorneys, along with offering strategic suggestions for lawyers to navigate the changes. In addition to educating lawyers about how these decisions change or develop Maine law, they also focused on a number of Law Court decisions over the past year that are important for lawyers practicing in all civil areas—family law, foreclosure, personal injury, and more.

The MSBA’s Legal Year in Review program allows experienced lawyers to share significant legal updates with their colleagues from across the state.
