As I sit here writing this review, I can’t help but think how incredibly lucky I was to have found Travis Brennan, and the entire Berman Simmons legal team, for 2 1/2 years they have done nothing but accommodate me in every possible way. From the first time I spoke to Travis, I knew I had the right person to represent me. He was so attentive to what I had to say and so straightforward about what my chances were and how we could have an uphill battle, but he was going to do everything he could to make things right. Never was I kept in the dark about what was going on or what was needed to proceed forward, any paperwork that was received or sent out was always sent to me to review and approve. The entire team, Rachel, Kirsten, Miriam and Travis treated me with the upmost respect, and really seem to care about my case. That is one thing I could really tell. God forbid I ever have to have another case like this. There is absolutely no team in this world that I would consider using than Berman Simmons. If there was a scale to rate them, for example one to five stars, I would give them an 8+. My case was a very emotional case and every time I spoke to anybody from my team, I knew and felt like I was their only case and I was top priority. If you can’t tell by now I extremely recommend Travis Brennan and his entire team at Berman Simmons.

I’m going to cut to the chase here and give 5 stars to Berman and Simmons! My experience with this law firm has been exceptional from day one of meeting with Attorney Michael Bigos to the final settlements. I’m a survivor of some serious trauma and was initially nervous about calling a law firm. However, I learned that Attorney Bigos has aquired specialized training to understand the effects of trauma on individuals, and how to recognize signs of trauma in order to create a safe and supportive environment to best represent his clients. Attorney Bigos understands that trauma can significantly impact a person’s communication, behavior, and ability to navigate the legal system. I had no worries with Attorney Bigos on my side, because it wasn’t just him caring about my case… I had a team at this law firm! When you first call Berman and Simmons there will be an intake from a Paralegal that will listen to your situation. I spoke with Erika Lindstrom (Paralegal for Attorney Bigos) who provided a very calming environment and clear communication, which made me feel comfortable and safe. Most importantly, I felt believed, and was provided with support groups (as well as other resources) to help me heal. I didn’t expect that, and was very pleased with all the extra that Berman and Simmons provided to me. They totally went above and beyond. Moreover, Attorney Joseph Gousse was close by to assist. A trauma-trained lawyer as well, Joseph was present for meetings to help; and, from the first moment we met, his personal aura radiated as truly genuine. I highly recommend Berman and Simmons for any personal injury case that has caused you trauma. I feel like a giant weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you, Berman and Simmons!

My partner and I got smoked by a careless driver while we were out motorcycle riding. Totaled the Goldwing, serious injuries for us. We worked with the office of Elizabeth Kayatta, including Nancy and Isabelle. All of them were so easy to work with and really showed their tenacity on our behalf. They really took the time to connect with us on a human level and make everything clear at the layman level, which not all lawyers can/will do. Easily recommend them for personal injury, I’m confident they’re the best in Maine! 10/10
