In March 2021, Berman & Simmons Attorney Michael Bigos testified in favor of lifting the statute of limitations for survivors of child sexual abuse to be able to file civil suits against their abusers and the organizations where they worked. Now Attorney Bigos represents a former Old Town parishioner who was just 12 years old when he was abused by his priest.
