Cases We Handle
At Berman & Simmons, we get thousands of inquiries a year. Unfortunately, there are many cases we don’t take on due to a variety of circumstances. Here is some information about the cases we handle, how to prepare for your first call to our firm and the information we need from you during the intake process.

Cases We Don’t Handle
We get many inquiries about cases we don’t handle or those outside of our practice areas. To save you time, before you contact us, please check this list of cases we DO NOT handle.
What to Expect
Before you contact us, to ensure the process is productive, below are some basic intake steps to help you prepare for the conversation.
Step 1: Free Preliminary Intake Screening by an Intake Specialist
If you or someone you love has been seriously injured and have questions about a potential case, don’t hesitate to contact us online or call as soon as possible after the incident.
If you send an online form, our intake team will process it, and an Intake Specialist will call you back. If you call, you will speak first to our receptionist, who will transfer you to one of our Intake Specialists. If they’re busy, please leave a message and they will call back promptly. You won’t speak directly with an attorney at this stage.
