Just some of our successes in complex trial cases…
We won a $56 million jury verdict in Knox County, on behalf of 500 Maine wild blueberry growers, in a price-fixing, class-action lawsuit against Down East blueberry processors.
We won a jury verdict of more than $10 million for small Maine water bottling companies in a malpractice case against a Seattle-based law firm. The firm failed to meet its fiduciary obligations for the Maine companies in a prior action against the owner of the Poland Spring Water Co.
We won a $22.5 million jury verdict for a utility lineman in Vermont who was electrocuted when opening an electrical switch at a substation, and lost both of his legs below the knee. This case took over four years, nearly 30 depositions, and involved multiple defendants including Fortune 500 companies. At the time, the verdict was the largest award in Vermont history.
