Berman & Simmons is pleased to announce that Timothy M. Kenlan, J.D., has joined the firm. Tim graduated from the University of Maine School of Law where he was a member of the Maine Law Trial Competition Team. He received the Faculty Award for Trial Advocacy for his exceptional performance on the Trial Team. Tim also served as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic during his final year of law school where he assisted low-income individuals with civil matters. His work at the Clinic and on the Trial Team inspired him to pursue justice for individuals with limited resources.
Tim grew up in Vermont. After spending time in Eastern Maine, he chose to move to Maine in 2007. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language and Literature. He is proficient in Russian and has lived in St. Petersburg, Russia. Tim recently passed the Maine Bar Examination and will be officially sworn in as a member of the Maine Bar of Attorneys on November 2, 2012. At Berman & Simmons, his practice will focus on helping injured people throughout Maine.
