Berman & Simmons Attorneys Present at the 2020 Maine State Bar Association Legal Year in Review

Berman & Simmons attorneys Alicia Curtis and Travis Brennan are scheduled to give a presentation at the Legal Year in Review seminar on November 16. This live webinar hosted annually by the Maine State Bar Association (MSBA) offers continuing legal education credits to Maine lawyers.

Curtis and Brennan, who are among a small handful of Maine attorneys selected to present at this event, plan to discuss notable Law Court decisions made in 2020 that are important for lawyers practicing in all civil areas—family law, foreclosure, personal injury, and more. They will also address modifications made to laws concerning evidence and civil procedure and explore how these changes may impact Maine’s legal professionals, as well as offer advice to the attendees for navigating these changes.
