Portland Press Herald reports on $450,000 verdict for Gorham man

The Portland Press Herald newspaper published an article this week about a $450,000 jury award won by Berman & Simmons attorney William Robitzek, on behalf of a client who was injured in a car accident in 2010.

The verdict is another example of the reputation of Berman & Simmons as Maine’s leading law firm for personal injury cases. Berman & Simmons lawyers are never afraid to take cases to trial, and they consistently achieve life-changing results for their clients.

The award of $450,000 was above the $375,000 figure that Berman & Simmons attorney William Robitzek had asked them to consider. It covers medical bills, lost wages, plus pain and suffering.

“Most of all I’m happy for Tim because this is vindication. The jury found that he told the truth,” Robitzek said. “The result shows that the jury system works, and that juries in Maine will award fair compensation to make up for what injured people have lost as a result of other people’s negligence.”
