TRIAL ATTORNEY

Applicants may be recent law school graduates, current law clerks, or practicing attorneys with 5 years or less experience. The ideal candidate must be quick thinking, determined, and have a strong desire to help injured Mainers throughout the State. Applicants should have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and research skills, and be interested in becoming a lead attorney with significant responsibility in a high-volume personal injury practice. Candidates must also possess strong verbal communication skills and be able to interact comfortably with clients and attorneys within the adversarial process.

LITIGATION ATTORNEY

Maine’s top trial law firm seeks an attorney to fill an integral role in a busy practice handling complex, high-profile cases.  Candidates should have exceptional educational credentials from a top-tier law school, or top-of-the-class standing in another academic environment.  The ideal candidate is a results-oriented lawyer looking to build a life and career in Maine.

This attorney will work closely with an experienced trial attorney who has obtained landmark verdicts in Maine and Vermont in a practice focusing on medical malpractice and other complex cases.  Considerable weight will be given to Federal and State Supreme Court clerkships.  Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of experience in a trial or litigation-related practice, who possess a solid foundation in pre-trial discovery, including written discovery and depositions. Other candidates with stellar academic and/or clerkship credentials and transferrable skills will also be considered. 

Candidates must also possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable interacting with clients and attorneys within the adversarial process.  Starting compensation is subject to negotiation based upon candidate's credentials and experience.
