Profile:

Jim joined Berman & Simmons in 2007.  He primarily represents people and corporations who have been harmed by accidents, professional malpractice, negligent conduct, business torts and defective products.

Prior to joining Berman & Simmons, Jim had several years of litigation experience as a lawyer in Massachusetts.  Jim previously held positions as a litigation associate at Bingham Dana, LLP (now Bingham McCutchen) in Boston and as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.  Jim also held legal internships during law school with the United States District Court in Boston and with the Criminal Bureau of the United States Attorney’s Office in San Francisco.

Jim lives in North Yarmouth with his wife and son.  In his free time, Jim enjoys golfing and coaching youth sports.
